Dr. Ismail Mohamed Ali, PhD, CISA, is a seasoned IT consultant, auditor, and trainer with extensive expertise in information systems, software engineering, and IT audits. He has supported a range of organizations in conducting professional IT audits involving risk assessments, control evaluations, cybersecurity assessments, IT governance frameworks, and regulatory compliance. In addition to his consultancy work, Dr. Ismail is committed to professional development and regularly conducts training in Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, IT Help Desk Support, and IT audit practices.

He currently serves as a lecturer and researcher at SIMAD University. Dr. Ismail earned his PhD in Information Systems from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), an MSc in IT Management from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from SIMAD University. He is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). Outside of academia, he enjoys writing, traveling, and volunteering.
